Constituents from Richmond Park and North Kingston met their MP Zac Goldsmith as part of a mass lobby to highlight the urgent need to fight climate change.
Thousands of people from across the UK met their MPs in Westminster as part of the “The Time Is Now” campaign day. Zac met a large group of constituents from his constituency and heard their views on clean energy, renewables and the need to achieve net zero carbon emissions as soon as possible.
Commenting, Zac said: “It is always uplifting to hear from my constituents on environmental issues. I am so heartened by the groundswell of support for ambitious measures to stop emitting carbon as soon as possible.”
